Unlimited Mode

Don't want to wait for tomorrow? With unlimited mode you can play as many games as you like, one after another. Each time, a random word is picked from the Italian dictionary.

This mode is perfect for training your strategy, widening your vocabulary and getting ready for the daily challenge. At the end of each game, press "Play again" to start right away with a new word. If you're looking for the endless Italian word game — a word puzzle with no limits, a nonstop 5-letter challenge — unlimited mode is for you.

How is it different from the daily mode?

How to train most effectively

Unlimited mode isn't just a pastime: it's a training tool. To get the most out of it, try setting yourself concrete goals. For example, play five games in a row aiming to solve each word in three tries or fewer. Or pick a starting word you've never used and watch how it changes your approach.

A useful exercise is to focus on the letters that trip you up. If double consonants give you trouble, play more games paying attention to the positions where LL, TT, SS or RR show up most often. Over time, these combinations will become the first thing you consider, not the last.

Another effective approach is the two fixed words method: pick two starting words that together cover as many frequent letters as possible (say AIUTO and DENSE), and always use them for your first two rows. After dozens of games with the same pair, you'll learn to read the results instantly and move to the deduction phase without hesitation.

Unlimited or daily: two different ways to play

The daily mode has the charm of a fixed appointment: a single word a day, the same for everyone, to be solved calmly and carefully. The tension of having just one chance makes every try weigh more and the result more meaningful. It's a ritual, something to do in the morning with your coffee or on your lunch break.

Unlimited mode works the opposite way: here you can afford to take risks, to make mistakes, to try unlikely words just to see what happens. There's no pressure of a single result. That makes it perfect for the moments when you just want to play without thinking too much — in a line, on the train, during a break.

Many experienced players use both modes: unlimited to warm up and sharpen their reflexes, the daily one for the real challenge. Trying new strategies in unlimited mode lets you reach the word of the day with more confidence and less hesitation.
